Melanotan II

Melanotan II is a synthetic analog of the peptide hormone alpha-melanocyte stimulating hormone (α-MSH) that stimulates melanocortin receptors. Research has explored its effects on skin pigmentation (melanogenesis), appetite regulation, sexual function, and metabolic processes. It has been studied as a non-UV method for increasing melanin production and its effects on multiple melanocortin receptor subtypes.
